RD Baker blames her love of all things dark and twisted on too much unsupervised reading time in the ’90s—and VC Andrews. Her books deliver equal servings of spicy romance and trauma, guaranteeing stories that will have you sweating and breaking your heart (though she promises to always put it back together).

An aspiring writer since childhood, it wasn’t until 2020 that RD decided to finally write a book. Starting with contemporary romances, she has since embraced the darker side, with a special love for the paranormal. Her stories feature flawed characters, mental health representation, villains you’ll love to hate, and forbidden love stories that will leave you swooning—and maybe questioning your sanity.  RD lives near Sydney, Australia, on Darug/Gundungurra Land, with her family.
